This beautiful older home was updated with a fresh look to the front living room and the rear family room, called the piano room. The client’s collection of art and family heirlooms is now on display, showcased with custom cabinets and lighting. A two-sided gas fireplace was found to suit both existing fireplace openings and wooden mantels. And by removing an old, heavy-handed stone wall finish and clunky hearth, the piano room gained extra floor area to go with its new lighter and brighter atmosphere.
